How to get to the President Hotel

  • Delegates will need to organise their own transport to the hotel upon arrival into London.
  • From London Heathrow, the easiest way is to take the London Underground, Piccadilly Line to Russell Square station. Journey takes about 1 hour and then it is about a 3 min walk to the hotel.  You can also take the Elizabeth Line to Tottenham court road station (35 min) and then it is a 20 min walk to the hotel
  • From London Gatwick, take the Thameslink train to St Pancreas Station (45 min) and then either walk 15 min to the hotel or transfer to the Piccadilly Line and go one stop to Russell Square Station.

How to get to the SCUK/SCI Office at 1 St John’s Lane, Farringdon, London EC1M 4AR

From Heathrow - Follow the signs to the Elizabeth line. You can use your contactless credit or debit card to pay by tapping in and out at the entrance (on the yellow card reader). Take the Elizabeth line to Farringdon Station direct service. Journey time is approx. 40 min.

From Gatwick: - Follow the signs through to the train station and go to the ticket desk. There is a direct train line (called Thameslink) that will take you from Gatwick to Farringdon station (5 min to the office) – take a train with destination of Bedford, Luton or St. Albans. The journey will take under an hour. If there are problems with this train line, take the Gatwick Express which will take you to London Victoria Station in approximately 30 minutes. You can purchase train tickets with a bank card or with cash at Gatwick. Once at London Victoria station follow the signs to the Underground and use your contactless credit or debit card to pay by tapping in and out at the entrance (on the yellow card reader). Take the Victoria line (pale blue) to Kings Cross St. Pancras. Once here change and take the Circle (yellow), Hammersmith & City (pink) or Metropolitan (purple) tube line one stop eastbound to Farringdon station.
