For children caught up in war, disaster and displacement, education can be a lifeline. UNIQLO, payment provider Adyen, and Save the Children are working together to provide safety, learning and hope for children in crisis.
When schools and learning spaces reopen during a crisis, sometimes in tents or damaged buildings, they become more than classrooms. They become safe spaces. Places where children are protected from exploitation, early marriage, child labour or recruitment. Spaces that offer routine, stability and moments of normality when everything else feels chaotic. In the most difficult circumstances, a learning space can be the one place where support, safety, and care come together.

All around the world, UNIQLO and Save the Children are working together to provide safe spaces, learning opportunities, and mental health support to ensure brighter futures for children like Lina*.
Lina*, 12, has lived in Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan since she was just four months old. Life in the camp is challenging, and she dreams of a different future.

Save the Children puts children first, always and everywhere. In war, in disaster, in the face of neglect.
Through Save the Children’s Girls’ Empowerment Centre, Lina is finding confidence and hope. The centre is a safe, girls-only space run with support from women in the camp, where girls themselves help shape the activities. From learning languages to self-defence classes, the empowerment centre is a place where children can express themselves, build resilience, and thrive.
Between 1 August and 30 November 2026, UNIQLO customers will have the option to add a small donation at the checkout in UNIQLO stores in Europe to help children like Lina around the world to have the future they deserve.
100% of UNIQLO customers’ donations will go to Save the Children, and every donation will be doubled by Adyen, UNIQLO’s payment provider.
Donations could provide learning toys, essential notebooks and pens for children to continue their learning, or teaching books and markers for the inspiring adults who continue to teach and care for children in the most challenging circumstances. This support will give hope to children experiencing crisis in countries like Ukraine, Jordan, and around the world.
Together, we can help provide safety, learning, and hope for children like Lina.
